Our goal: to understand protein folding, misfolding, and related diseases

What is protein folding and how is folding linked to disease?
Proteins are biology's workhorses -- its "nanomachines." Before proteins can carry out these important functions, they assemble themselves, or "fold." The process of protein folding, while critical and fundamental to virtually all of biology, in many ways remains a mystery.

so the question has to be,,,,,,,,, are you now involved?

Even though I recently upgraded to broadband and I have a laptop which is just a few months old, I tried to get online at 10.30pm. I have spent about 8 minutes max actually online, the rest of the time I have been trying to get my connection back. As this happens every single day I don't think there's much point in me signing up for it.
