They had a very long conversation last night which finished just as LF closed at 6am. I was actually very moved at the conversation between them, they both opened up to each other about lots of things.

Marcus admitted to being lonely at times and he appears to have never had a loving home environment and has always had to look after himself. I was wondering if that was part of the reason he sometimes doesn`t interact well in the house, but he was really adamant to Charlie that what he feels for Noirin is deep.

I`ve never had much time for Charlie but hearing him talk last night away from all the stupidity with Kris and the bitching of Lisa and Karly was an eye opener. I may be mistaken but he was very genuine in the way he spoke and his response to Marcus was touching.

It all finished with Charlie giving Marcus a hug and off the went to bed. Was very interesting.

The way they were talking to eachother it was as if they were close and always went to eachother for chats in times of trouble.

But I've never seen them close at all. Confused

It could have been like what Judi James said on the eviction interview show that now the newbies have come in the original HM's will bond together against the new comers.

Charlie isn't impressed with David one bit. Big Grin

Well maybe, although I would suggest a more likely reason for not having seen them close before is the loss of live feed.

Remember last year: even with LF, a lot of FMs were surprised at how Rachel and Mikey "suddenly" seemed to become close. It was only after they left the house that we discovered they'd been close friends from the very first week...

I was impressed with the way Charlie handled Marcus saying that he was intending to keep trying with Noirin, even justifying it by saying that Rex had told him to keep trying. Charlie gave him good advice, telling him to hold back and just be a friend and this was reiterated a few times. As I said earlier Charlie changed my opinion on him last night.
