also they said those quals were worth shit anyway...but if he didn't go...9-5 for 13 weeks. he would have benefits stopped
yip, as he says it seems that IF you are over 35 they give up on you and they want to remove your right to control your own life,
WHY, in a "free" country should anyone be FORCED to work in a low paid job they hate?,
I have been throught this "system" myself many many times, (been made redundant over 10 times in my life)
it seems training (good training) is only availiable for "certain" people or "certain types" of people,
I will give ya a CLASSIC example,
I was signing on myself only a year ago, I had been on the dole for over a year (except for one or two crap temp jobs)
one day I am in the que in the jobcentre for my fortnightly humiliation session, and in walks my sister...
SHE had just been made redundant from a managerial job she had held at woolies for 30 years,...a woman came over to HER "oh hello can I help"?
(my sister was wearing her suit I was in my jeans hoodie n baseball cap)
she explained her situation, and was taken off into a room for an interview,
later that day I spoke to her, and she was full of praise for the wonderfull people at the jobcentre,
and yet (I have to say it), my sister is so dim its unreal, she goes on holliday to exotic places every year yet couldnt point to ONE of em on a map when I asked her, she has NEVER read a book in her life,(votes BNP) but SHE gets the red carpet treatment I get shown the minimum wage jobs, and when you ask for help and advice they just look bored,
sickening it is,...but hey...everybody on the dole is a scrounger ya know,?
