Nasty Nick

Early yesterday morning we reported that BB1’s “Nasty” Nick had pulled out of the planned task over not getting paid. Today he spoke out after BB1 winner Craig stepped in at the last minute to save the show.

“They were not going to pay me. I don’t think I should take a day out for no money. Everyone was looking forward to me coming back,” Nick said. He also claimed to be under the belief that other returning ex-housemates - namely BB7’s Nikki Grahame and BB8 winner Brian Belo were being offered fees for their appearances.

Nick also blamed BB bosses for not informing him of which task he would be involved in until the last minute, “I’m not as fit. Why would I do something I can’t do on television for no money?” said Nick, talking about the assault course task Craig and Halfwit took part in yesterday.

In a statement, Big Brother said that all ex-housemates were unpaid, with their fees going to The Jade Goody Foundation in memory of the BB3 star. The pull out of Nick comes as an embarrassment for C4 as he heavily featured in both online and TV promotion campaigns for the birthday week.

The Jade Goody Foundation, was mentioned in an article before her death. She wanted money raised to be spent on good works, and NOT only for cancer charities. However it is not registered with the charities commision, so who knows what or where it is. Does not appear to have a web site either.

I'll be honest and admit I did'nt watch the first bb, but, from what I've learnt about this Nick is he was a cheat and got booted out. So why should he be allowed in again at all?

I only started from BB3, so the other lad from BB2 who went in yesterday meant nowt to me.

And the 3 BB3 HM's only made it to the carpark doing some stupid egg and spoon race, what a fooking waste of time

He was only being allowed in to perform a task, he couldn't win so I don't think it really mattered if he cheated in BB1 or not.

It's a pity she didn't want to spend any of her own money on cancer research or other "good works" She surely didn't need ALL her fortune to have the kids raised and would have earned a lot more respect frfom me & others like me if she had given some to less fortunate cancer victims. Just heard today that John Hartson the Welsh striker has been diagnosed with testicular cancer which has spread to his brain. God bless and best wishes fighting it John.

Too right - some people (hello, Nikki) will make utter idiots of themselves for free, just to get on telly. Others think they should at least be paid for it.

He probably watched a bit of the show, saw there is no live feed, thought WHAT? I give up a day of my life and get seen on tv for a whole 15 mins of airtime, sorry...I get more publicity if I pull out, AND its a pile of dog poo this year anyway,

I know he could'nt win, and it was for a task, but just feel he should'nt have been offered the privilige of going back in anyway.

I was hoping there'd be a few bb winners or runner's up going in,

suppose they know the show is on it's last legs now.
