I had the flu once in my life and was in bed for 2 weeks, with a fever, aching all over, vomiting, coughing to name just a few. So I totally understand how wound up people feel when a colleague comes in to the office, sneezes, blows their nose and then says "I've got a terrible flu" Laugh I wanna shout out, panto style, "Oh no you dont!!"

yeah whenever my OH gets a slight sniffle he has "flu" according to him. When I had a cold a few weeks ago he told people I had flu! I guess thats why they call a cold "man flu" Laugh

I currently have swine flu and this is the first day since Saturday where I have been able to hold a normal conversation or even lift my head off the pillows..

I am prone to respriatory infections and get a lot of colds, but this is the worst one I ahve had since I had the flu in 1999/2000. I can't even stand the smell of food and have coughed and sneezed for the whole country even with Tamiflu!!

When people say they have got the flu when it's a cold it makes me laugh, you KNOW when you have got the flu.
