I saw this and DH and I both commented on it - it's a pity we don't get LF so we know the full story because until we know what Marcus actually said it's hard to judge.

well exactly but it seemed a bit staged ... the way he said it and the others backed him up ...and my point is that if it was said then they have a responsibility to do something about it by going to the diary room and complaining

In what way was this claim made and how did he say he pretended to be disabled?

There are varying levels of disabled and offence associated.

Strange thing to do if it's true, Marcus is a bit of a fantasist.

He could pretend to be blind so as to touch hands to their face or some other thing that is obviously (to anyone he is doing it to) a joke and in no way serious. This could have been misconstrued by Charlie when he was nebbing.

I'm sure if anything was said that could upset viewers they would have edited out Charlie's voice.

What was Charlie's version (as in what Marcus actually said) of events?

Notice how no-one here knows the facts, and just heard it from the mouth of one of the least genuine characters in the house, Charlie. Nothing much revolves round in Charlie's head except how he can make himself look good for the cameras.

My guess it was probably a harmless remark, twisted first by Charlie, next by some forum members as an excuse to jump on Marcus. That seems to be the trend so far this BB.

Freddie is a pretty right on guy likely to object to such a remark, yet he hasn't mentioned any such comments from Marcus. I'd take his word over Charlie's any day.

If he did say it then why haven't we been shown it? Or is this "so and so told me that so and so told them that so and so heard Marcus say" sort of chinese whispers that Karly especially indulges in.

Sorry, when I said 'gave this an example' I meant what the original poster had put i.e. Charlie said that Marcus had said he sometimes pretends to be disabled to pull women . I really believed him, it wasn't said viciously by Charlie, more in an incredulous way that the gbp didn't vote him out for saying stuff like that....and it seems like a v strange thing to make up?

Marcus lives near my Brother-in-Law, and he said that Marcus is very straight speaking, so you know exactly where you stand with him, and he is liked for that reason...

Thats why I like him too ....sometimes..... and then he says something really disrespectful about women.I dont know what the truth is but Charlie was going on about it and as I said before if it was a really offensive remark then BB should have pulled him up on it or Charlie should have complained.
