It cannot have been easy for him to have felt marginalised and isolated from the group, whilst being mocked and laughed at for his posh voice and his unique way of expressing himself. It shows that Freddie is a strong lad, filled with great self-belief. His love of life is infectious and he refuses to be negative or sullen or unhappy. Many attempts have been made to hurt and destroy Freddie, but he has bounced back every time.

What other people may interpret as being cocky and confident in Freddie now, I see it as self-belief writ large and he is now unafraid to express his opinions because he is one of the few in the house who understands how the GBP tick. He senses that he is liked, and why, and he is right.

I completely agree. Good post Twee. Clapping

Yes.He is doing himself no favours either. What Bea is doing to him is very nasty, he needs to stand up to her, but when he is coming out with "Im gonna get what I want", or "get my way", whichever it was in his rant with Lisa he said, he comes accross like a spoilt brat.

Speak for yourself .........i'm finding his cock suredness and arrogance a bit too much.

I dont't think I'm alone on that front .........in the minority probably but certainly not alone.

Hmm, I find it interesting he says he is being more himself every week as support seems to be dropping for him every week, do people like him being himself? Or do we prefer him being the victim?

I think, while he has the right to be cocky at the moment, it will cause his eviction later on in the series

Freddie hasn't changed, he's still the same person it's just that people have got used to him now and don't keep moaning about the way he talks, what he talks about, his ooohs and aaahs and orgasmic sing songs, they keep it all to themselves now as they think the public won't like them mentioning it. As time goes on i'm sure that every little nuance which caused severe irritation with them right from the start has become magnified now over time, hence the repeated nominating.
I think Freddie seems as though he's cracking slightly. There was a touch of hysteria about his laugh when Lisa finally let go of her temper recently.

I understand the point about the public preferring a victim, but isn't that just weird? What crazy logic. When people play at being victims it is so easy to spot and not liked at all by the viewing public... the all seeing all judging public lol.

Quite easy really. He is;

Gentle
Sensitive
Good mannered
Selfless
Eccentric
Thoughtful
Intelligent

and much much more Big Grin

I agree he's eccentric but that is part of his act, as are the other 'attributes' you list. Furthermore, he's much less intelligent than he likes to think he is.

I really cannot stand the man - not since I first saw him and I dislike him a bit more each day that goes by!

I didn't like him being the victim, I liked him when Bea first came in and he took a back seat in the arguments. It was then and only then that he was accepted by the WHOLE group Shake Head
