I used to have a friend whos mum claimed the gift ran in the family. It was my friend who first saw my grandad standing besides me. My brother also saw him sitting next to me.
Our family is full of people who hang around after the event to keep an eye on whats happening, either looking out for us or too nosey to move on 
Both my Grandma and Grandad have made themselves known to my Mum and aunty.
I know I have my Nan with me, from smells that come by at certain moments I knew someone was with me but didn't know who until a psychic a few months ago passed a message on that could only have been from my Nana. I thought I would be scared but I am really comforted by it. I was young when she went but I remember her being tough and hardworking but caring and funny with it. Apparently giving me a gentle push when I know I need it sometimes.

When my mum died,a black butterfly appeared at her funeral,even though it was early March.
Every so often we get one land for a while and fly off.I think its mt mums spirit and that shes taking care of us in a funny kind of way(I know it sounds weird,but....!)
