For them, they see Freddie as a toff, and a toff has never won before. The winners have, for the most part, been un-educated, working class, loud mouthed tossers. They don't understand that the public are fed up with people whose ambition in life is to be a glamour model or to be on the dole.
It's a state of mind that the gang simply can't fathom - that someone who has worked hard, gotten an education, wants to work for the people, and better himself and his community - could compete with them because they are "pretty", shallow and vain.
I just wish that i had been shown enough of the other housemates to judge them with any clarity. For instance, there was one DR entry from Sophie broadcast on the HL show across the first 20 days. In that same time period i wonder how many times i heard the question asked; How are you feeling today, Halfwit?
