I'm with Virgin no probs, but friends who have sky have problems every time there is a storm, or even just rain.

Everytime theres rain, thunder and lightening it happens to mine.
I've only had sky for nearly a month now.
Heavy rain does it here and snow on the dish also does it we discovered when we had that heavy snow earlier in the year

yep hail, rain, thunder, snow even black clouds are enough to knock my sky off
We had a very bad storm a couple of years ago and I could not get any picture on my telly the winds blew my sky dish out of line it cost me ÂĢ60 to get it realigned.
Why cant sky sort this stupid problem out.?
Yep, mine went last night after a heavy shower, I was moaning bout it in my freaky weather thread, any hint of a thunder storm it goes too.
So what happens when the analogue signal is turned off? Can we if we lose any t.v.through bad weather, complain to the government, and demand refunds on our subscriptions?

allegedly and I use that word loosely, when analogue gets turned off they are supposed to be boosting the digital signal which should alleviate all our problems - yeah right I'll believe it when it happens
Same with me, storms and heavey rain always knock the signal out
If we get a torrential downpour here it affects the signal,mind you our dish is bolted to the front path under the living room window,they tried halfway up the wall and the roof,no joy.

As ours in on the ground we can re-align it ourselves.It happened about six weeks ago,me shouting out the window to my niece "left a bit,left a bit!That's it!"
