About 2 weeks I think. My mate has been with this girl for about 8 weeks, nothing serious. She was with another guy before him. She has just told him she is 8-10 weeks pregnant (after lying and saying that she wasn't ) and he is now worried as it could be his. She is having a scan on Friday.

Quick question Queen - have you had blood tests - I haven't had any since 12 weeks

I can't think of any, other than the ones I had at 28 weeks, but they were to do with gestational diabetes and because I have a negative blood type. If your blood pressure is ok and blood type is positive, I don't think you should need anything else checked hun.

I am. It's all getting a bit real now though. I think I'm just starting to realise that in around 8 weeks I'm actually going to have a baby.

I would think they'll be able to narrow it down by more than two weeks, so your mate should know one way or the other on Friday - if she tells the truth.

It's a nightmare isn't it?! In the end we just started asking people we saw with prams we liked when we were out in shops. They're always really helpful because they've been through all the palaver themselves. We saw two very nice ladies in John Lewis' while we were making our final decision and they gave us the pros & cons of our two favourites. I can't wait to get mine now.
