During a vote to evict, if Kris got a higher percentage, then he would be at the bus stop by the end of the day.

During a vote to save, if Kris got the higher percentage, then he would stay in the house.

Does it make sense now?

But I don`t get why people say that you can get a different result between the same two contestants depending on if it is a vote to evict or a vote to save.

In a vote to save, people who might have avoided a normal eviction end up getting booted out, simply because they are neutral radar-dodgers and the public weren't bothered enough about them either way to vote for them.

I hope its not a vote to save, it wont nesessarily get Kris out, esp with 5 being up. Could be very close between him and Marcus

I think the problem's arise if there's more than two up... as in this week.
With 5 up...if it was a vote to save..... everyones fan's would vote for them only. In that way making them have a high vote.
If, however it's a vote to evict.... people who only vote once will vote for who they dislike... leaving 4 other's who haven't been voted for and those four could have evenly distributed votes.

Because not all of those who would vote to evict one person would necessarily vote to save the other person.
