LL I don't know how he has survived this long without having a go. Even last night on LF, Kris and his haystack-head queen were mocking him again. How much is one person expected to take before they crack? Kris is the ring leader and what a hateful jealous inferior little chav he is proving to be. Like you, I admire Freddie for his restraint.

I don't know how he has shown so much restraint either, but I guess it is difficult because it would be him against all the others. Very difficult to stand alone and fight your corner on your own. I also think it is not in his nature to be confrontational, he seems quite a gentle chap.

Bless him Frowner

I don't want Freddie to be perfect. I want him to have a temper and fight back, proving he is a normal good and natural human being. It would be unnatural if he could stand such treatment, and I am glad he is fighting back at last. Of course he is outnumbered and it must be so difficult and awkward for him in there. But he has shown stamina, a stiff upper lip, and a determination not to be trod underfoot by some low calibre chavs. And he will stay again on Friday. Hurrah! (said in a posh voice) lol.

What, even if you begin to see less endearing characteristics that C4 haven't chosen to show us previously Confused

I appreciate we see practically nothing, but the HMs themselves said the other day that he did nothing wrong, they just found him annoying. From where I'm standing that sounds that what we see might be pretty much how he behaves.

He hasn't looked down on them because of their class, so why do they feel the need to do it to Freddie?.

Inversed snobbery. Nod

chavdom rules in the BB house and posh peeps with principles education and wealth are outnumbered and marginalised darlo. It makes them feel better about themselves. And I love listening to a cut glass accent, so I'm ok with his voice lol

I'm not sure that the edit did Karly or Sophie any good. Just lucky neither are up this week...

Why is it assumed that it was anti-Freddy? For instance, i watched Sophie having fun with Roddy last night on LF - for the first time this series the HL edit finished before the LF footage began. From what we saw tonight most people are likely to buy even further into the 'outsider' storyline, surely?

Ermmm, Ermmm, not sure...Do appreciate his 'manners,' but not necessarily his, 'stiff upper lip.' Maybe I'm a little different to some fms in that I know q. a lot of 'Oxbridge'/top public school chaps and chapettes, and many, many 'alternative/hippy' folk.... so I don't see him as particulary 'different.' I rather like 'down to earth' folk irrespective of social class, and, not popular I know, but q. like Charlie....runs!!!
I'm thinking Freddie's just a better educated/more well spoken form of a 'wannabee' and tbh, not that bright - knowledge and IQ are v different animals... Ooo I dunno, couldn't stand him at first, then felt sorry for him, then warmed to him, now he's getting on my tits

I see whingey and moany in a number of other housemates - some of whom have a very low tolerance level.
But I don`t see it as a characteristic of Freddie. Everybody in BB is entitled to a moan at some time I suppose.
It seems to me that, more than most, Freddie has made particular efforts to be courteous to people and get on with them better.

That coming from a Rodrigo fan. Laugh
Rodrigo moans less...and his voice is less droany too. Smiler

Dont get me wrong, I like him but he does moan quite a bit. Wink

And he allows himself to get influenced by the others in regards to nominations, I dont know if thats his gameplan or he's just a follower.

He impressed me by not being weak.
I have the impression that he does not waffle away just so his voice will be heard. But that he speaks up when he feels strongly.
Funnyhow the same evidence can provide different conclusions.

I agree. Although I do think he needs to learn to choose his battles and be more selective about what he's willing to get drawn into a row over.

If I was in that house with those twonks I think I might be tempted to do more than whinge and moan so I think Freddie is to be praised for putting up with so much and still remaining his old sweet self, I don't blame him for a minute for having a little whinge.

Look at George and Divvy with their treatment of Freddie - C4 have pretty much brought up EVERY opportunity to show Freddie in a bad light. He does not tick all of their characteristics in the 'ideal winner' checklist because he's not fawning on Dogface and going to be falling out of bars every night. They don't want him to win and so I just don't think that have that much material of Freddie whining or boasting and suchlike. He's a nice, chilled guy; look at him in the argument with Sree. If he was going to yell incoherently then he would have done it there but he stayed very calm and tried to explain the situation to Sree.

Yes Laugh Laugh spot on!

Dyslexics often speak slowly or haltingly or appear spaced out. I feel so sorry for Freddie, his life at school must have been very difficult and now he is being subjected to schoolyard bullying tactics by those who think they're the cool kids.
