but what he said about the British NAZI Party was SPOT on,
how DARE they use Winston Churchill on their leaflets the NAZI SCUMBAGS, a GREAT man famous for leading this country in a stuggle against FILTH that thought the same way THEY do??

He should be put in front of some school children or teenagers, he will need a backbone then or any of the MPs , they'd take the mickey out of them .

I've never considered him to be spineless and I certainly didn't see him squirming this evening. He put his views across quite eloquently and was correct in many respects. Well, in my opinion anyway.

Gah. That just made him sweeter.
He's much better now he's not trying to live up to being a prime minister.
Very very bright man.
Crap party leader, but great parliamentarian. Doesn't seem to have been *ahem* fingered in this whole expenses carry-on

He became a party leader too soon, around now or in a few years time would have been the right time for him.

William Hague is by far a greater politician than the entire Layabout party, sorry Labour party, put together.
Meh...Even if hell froze over I'd never ever ever vote conservative....which makes me conservative by definition.
William Hague is barely more tolerable than he was as an upstart.Like cheddar he has matured but stinks to high heaven!

I say the same about Labour Mazz, but you know that I think Hague has matured a great deal and would make a fine Conservative leader now.

I disagree BDO - I thought he was great as party leader actually. He just didn't possess the charismatic qualities which some others possess unfortunately.
He is also a great speaker/orator.

I don't think he was a particularly good leader at the time. He was very young and inexperienced, but now that he has matured he would make a fine leader.
Agree Hyacinth, he is a great speaker/orator. I like him alot.
