Medical students from UoN have been quarantined in Kenya after one of them was found to be carrying swine flu...
ohoh. My flatmate is a medical student who has just gone to Kenya
I'm close to a hotspot
It's going to comeback in the winter and really get bad.
3 cases in my youngest's school so far.
Which considering how many kids have time off every winter with flu is nothing really.

I was working in a school last night where there were 11 confirmed cases among the children, 4 confirmed cases in members of staff, and loads more staff and children are suspected of having it. It seems to be spreading very quickly, but most people I've heard of so far have recovered quickly.
Thats it...for normal healthy people its not a problem, it only is for those with other health problems...same as normal flu which kills shed loads of people every year without it making the headlines.
Teacher in a school in the village next to ours has it.
Sorry - should have said - Lincolnshire
Children and staff members at both the Oslings' schools (South Herts) have it.
Apparently there's a big cluster in the Watford/Bushey/Elstree area. Second only to the West Midlands
Myself, I'm just reeling with a heavy dose of wine flu

A little girl died from it near me, but she had underlying health problems - immune defiency something or other.
It scares me, as does the regular flu. If I caught it, the least I could expect is a month in hospital.
