A controversial view in the drop of viewing figures???

I have spoke to 3 people over the last weeks who are usually BB fans, however when I asked them if they were enjoying BB all 3 of them said they switched of after the first night because of the different nationalities in the house. (this was usually followed by the expected comment of I am not racist or anything

).

I myself cant understand this reasoning but I suppose its each to their own. I know the drop in veiwing figures is mainly down to the tired old format and the lack of live feed but I was wondering has anyone else heard these comments or feels this also could be a reason for the poor viewing figures

Ive watched BB from the off,and,to be fair,the past 3 years really have been carp,nowt to do with nationalitys imo,just the types of people they choose to go in.
Lack of intelligence,the yobby aggro types....who wants to watch them tear each other apart over a tin of cider?

nope the only thing ive heard moaned about is the lack of live feed ,BB i think has always had a mixture of cultures

I think it's because as time has gone on the housmates have become less and less like average people and more and more extreme. Thus viewers find it harder to identify and empathise with them.

Then again perhaps there are just too many reality shows on the box these days and BB is the most dated.

bet your "friends" are the type of people who lap up American TV progammes though

Personally, I prefer the foreign HMs , they're usually so much more interesting than many of the bland Brit pretty boy and girl types they put in there.

Viewing figures are down because it's crap. No LF, no particularly interesting HM's and at lease 4 tlts (you can see many more there).

Never heard that excuse, all my friends that are BB fans have only complained about live feed and think it's pointless BB being on as it's being shown.

The reason i'm annoyed is that there not showing you half the stuff the housemates are doing.
They brushed what angel said under the carpet. I liked angel and her remarks were out of order.
How can you support someone when you are not getting the full story of what there doing and saying.
But bb will take your money but not give you live feed to make sure you are supporting the right person.
Hope that made sense. LOL.

apart from what most have said, i'm sick of the redtops etc 'leaking' the hm's prior to arrival - and that most are from ruddy agencies anyway, so auditions are as contrived as ever.
fed up with bb engineering 'soap' story tv and general boringness of hm's.
the only good thing is i'm falling asleep watching it at night and am catching up next day.
