Davina: 'There is another BB next year'

Davina McCall has announced on her Twitter page that there is to be another series of Big Brother next year and that she will continue to present for it.

At about 10pm last night, amongst some casual tweeting about her children's sports day, she posted: "Message to all. There is another BB next year. I am presenting it."

It is unclear whether her statement refers to Big Brother or Celebrity Big Brother, but it comes at a time when the future of Big Brother is regarded as uncertain after steadily falling ratings.

Davina have previously used Twitter to discuss Big Brother evictions, as well as to encourage fans to complain over the removal of the live feed.

I can't see many people being interested to be honest unless its an all ex winners show and they bring back live feed for it.

Live feed is totally necessary to make this show enjoyble to watch... we are all aware how things are being edited and for me this year it is not half as much fun... if next year there is no live feed I will NOT be watching...

If Davina's so supportive of the return of LF why doesn't she make a stand live on air, or get one of the national papers behind it.

I don't always like Davina but I can't really imagine anyone else presenting BB, so I doubt her job would be at risk if she stuck her neck out for once.
