While Sree's new tortoiseshell hairdo was taking centre stage, Big Brother was quietly plotting behind the scenes. So, when Big Brother's voice came floating through, a few of the housemates looked a bit startled.
"Would a housemate who is good at reading aloud come to, the Diary Room," came the announcement.
"I'm good," trilled Rodrigo skipping off to the Diary Room. But when he returned, he wasnβt the bearer of particularly good news.
"Housemates," announced Rodrigo. "Big Brother would like to inform you that this week's nominations will take place this evening. This week's nominations will take place against the clock. Each housemate will have a total of 90 seconds in which to nominate both their chosen housematesβ¦"
Yikes!
"β¦each housemate's 90-second nomination window begins when Big Brother names them to call them to the Diary Room," Rodrigo added.
Cats were among pigeons, and foxes were in henhouses as the news sank in that housemates would be nominating against the clock. Siavash managed to ratchet the tension up too. "People," he said, "it's very possible that they could show that on the thingy," he added pointing to the Plasma Screen.
"So, basically we've got to sit here and run in and out?" asked Karly looking worried.
"You have a minute and a half," Siavash reminded her.
Best get your running shoes on housemates, you're gonna need 'em.

Why didnt they announce it later live? So much for live noms... we will prob just be thrown into it at 10:55 by seeing someone enter DR... no announcements whatsoever
