well these days i would say nooooo go to work and watch a repeat
but in the past i have been known to pull the odd sickie

My boss is very unforgiving if let down - but mega as a frend - so i havw to be careful

perhaps i cud ask to go in an hour late??

If I were you I would watch the repeat the next day or if you are allowed to take a portable TV into work better still

launch night i was meant to take my kids and their mate to see britney spears at the 02.....luckily hubby knows that me missing launch night is impossible.....so he's taking them instead........

In reply to OP though... by all means ask if someone will change, but I'd not ask for time off for a TV show and I'd definitely not call in sick for one (especially when you're obviously gonna be rumbled!)

he's not too bad ta ..off the painkillers now but still has antibiotics....he's on a high fibre diet cos they want him to go regularly.....but 'firm up'!!!

he's still a bit 'leaky' though.....which is causing a bit of concern......have to take him back on thursday for a check up......
