By the way; regarding Shaun Smith, I can't deny he has a decent voice - but were you aware that his mother worked for Simon Cowell for approximately seven years from the late 1990s to the mid 2000s? Interesting eh? And what a coincidence that her 'son' is in the final of Britain's Got Talent. Roll Eyes

Or..... it could be that he got through because he has a great voice Nod
Could be. It's a remarkable coincidence though. Nod

Brisket those comments are fine, and you are entitled to make them, if that is your view. It was the plain horrid and nasty comments that some have been making that I objected to. Constructive critisism is one thing, but blatant nastiness is something else. (BTW that's not aimed at anyone in particular,; I was just speaking in general..)

I didn't watch it last night, Gene Hunt is much better!!! I agree with Brisket and Holly mainly because although her first audition was good, not great, I really thought that the second was pretty dire, especially in the register dept Thumbs Up

Regardless of the outcome of BGT, I think it's fair to say that Susan Boyle will go on to bigger and better things in the future.

Personally, I would like to see Diversity or Flawless win, and this is for two reasons.

Firstly, they do have a raw talent which is inspiring to watch, they are quite breathtaking on many levels.

Secondly, I know we are gripped with other matters right now but we should remember that so many kids are currently dying at the hands of other kids. Knife crime is rife and sadly many young lives have been snubbed out for reasons such as respect, drugs and gangster images.

The youths in this country NEED groups like Diversity to come along and show them it's cool NOT to be a gangster, it's ok to dream, dedicate their time and energy to something other than turf wars and nonsense.

We want more of our countries Sons going out to enjoy themselves of an evening with their friends, and arrive home safely at the end of it. Too many parents have had to visit the morgue, this needs to stop.

It wouldn't hurt the Queen to see some positive images of todays youth, instead of the endless stories of failure.

Susan Boyle couldn't inspire a generation in quite the same way, therefore she's not getting my vote. Thumbs Up

Clapping Nod. Great post they are some of the reasons why I hope they win to change the perception of young people and they are so talented.
