I can never do it! Roll Eyes I have to take everything 'in case' (no pun). I'm being good, so I believe and decant things into little pots and throw away boxes to reduce the weight etc. Plus, I am asking myself 'will I REALLY need this'?

Not only that but because we have to take an internal flight after our main flight, the bag weight/allowance is reduced I'm 5 kilos down from the start! How will I get my make up in too? Confused

Now, I seem to live by that but I end up thinking 'Aww, I'll wear this pair of trousers again tomorrow as they match X top'. so I don't end up wearing most of the stuff I've 'planned'! Plus, I'm going to my MIL's so I could in theory 'wash' my things. Even that doesn't work as I want to use all my 'new stuff' on hols, but I don't! I'm a nightmare and that's before I start on toiletries! Shake Head

I'm seriously going to have to do this Nod - at least summer stuff is 'lighter' than winter stuff!

I dare not open the suitcases on the landing as once they're open I'll feel obliged to pack for real?! Roll Eyes Big Grin

In my handbag, every day one I have stuff for every eventuality! Pins, plasters, pumps, pills etc!

There a good video on you tube on how to neatly pack a t-shirt in so many moves! I think it's cool but I don't know how to do a cl icky link sorry.

My tip is always take the biggest hand luggage bag you can - fill it with a spare pair of shoes, a change of underwear, a bikini and a change of clothes. Just in case your bag goes missing Big Grin

Forget the bikini in my case, no pun intended again! Big Grin I do do try to put half and half of things in cases as one time my bag was stolen and I lost all my pills! It was a nightmare, so let alone clothes! Eeker

As for hand luggage - I try to stand at the desk with a 'What? This bag? It is just full of air, bulky, nothing much in it' attitude! while I have strap marks indented into my shoulder! Big Grin

Well exactly! I really am spoiled and do have it all here - in a normal way of course, you know what I mean! When I look at the choice of thing my in laws have in Northern Turkey I panic when my hubby says he wants an aprtment for the summer out there - I mean they don't even have Lilets! But my husband did get a cold alonmg with me at Christmas (we were at his mother's where they don't celebrate btw)it was tragic, he's lived here longer than he lived in Turkey now and is spoiled by the choices and how quickly we can go out and buy what we want here. Nod

He always has make up and tops in his case that he never wears tho'. Ninja (they're mine!)

I put everything I think I'll need on the spare bed....then discard anything that won't 'go' with anyrhing else. Then I discard half of what's left. I only take moisturiser and lipgloss...I can get whatever else I need there and I only take flip-flops, sandals and one pair of shoes. When the final tally has been decided...the OH packs it.
