Yes, she does have learning difficulties as a result of being starved of oxygen during her birth. I think the news stories about her outbursts have been very unfairly reported.

I think the shame is that you/we blame 'her' for being 'over hyped'...if she had the power to 'hype' herself, she would not have needed to enter the BGT competition.....Blame the press...

I would hope not either, but it is a reason for the way she behaves at times. Having said that, I had no idea about her learning difficulties the first time I heard her sing on You Tube and because I love her voice I would like her to win and for no other reason.

The media that hyped her up are already starting to tear her down... They called her second performance lacklustre... Thats how fickle the media is...

She is ok but I dont believe the hype.. What are they going to do with her after the competition? Its a recession people are not buying music...

Yep she does. I just cannot understand some of the spiteful comments I have read about her

I feel really sorry for Susan Boyle. She as been used shamelessly by BGT for publicity and now she as served her purpose it seems people want to kick her back down. She is not the greatest singer in the world and she does have learning difficulties. She really doesn't deserve the backlash she is getting.

why do peeps always look for the negative side? she is a great singer with a beautiful voice, surely she is not getting slated off for being the way she is? I accept her for who she is coz its her voice I noticed first and yes, I saw the audience jeering when she first appeared coz of the way she looked,speaks for itself really! she got thrust into the limelight straight away and imagine how she feels, everywhere she goes a camera following her every move, believe me, these media photogaphers do not have any boundaries when it comes to taking a picture to make money!
