I once went back to work (after a liquid lunch) so drunk, I passed out I had to be bundled into an empty office, tuned on my side and left there with a bucket cos we had auditors in at the time
Turn the air con up and take the phones off the hook. A wee snooze is called for.

Worktime drinking is so bad!

Excellent!
Moonbeams, luckily I'm only in for another hour. Then I've got to go home and hiccup all over the OH
Very bad if there is any machinery involved...and how many of you will be driving home later?????

None of us are driving, the only machinery involved is computers and we work for a firm whose chief exec paid themself a ÂĢ750,000 bonus last year, while laying people off. OK?
Very naughty indeed

Not sure what your bosses salary and all that has to do with what I asked.....
I actually thought it was a sensible question...

You're so bold. And to do it every week is just plain naughty.

Not when they ask you to give a presentation to the whole office

I did answer - no dangerous machinery or driving involved
We were all entitled to an hour's break anyway, which no-one minds if we never take (half the time, we don't). This time, we decided to take it and spend it in the pub

They'll never ask that, and especially not on Sunday evening when all the 'important' peeps are not working

Nevah done it before! But it might turn regular..
If students can get away with it, I'm sure you can.

They don't always
2 lads out of my class got kicked out of labs because they went for a quick one at lunch. How the tutor knew they had been for a drink (they didnt smell of alcohol) was never brought about
I am off home in a minute, and the OH has cooked chicken and roasties. Hey ho...

Uni
To be fair, it wasn't safe for them to be under the influence as we were doing a pretty difficult and dangerous experiment.
