Obviously we don’t know the exact results of the Week 4 nomination process, but we do know that the only nomination she has gained up until now was a really soft one from Angel in Week 1. The group discussion on the Sunday night HL show provided evidence that Sophie is adored within the group – even though Kris refused to big her up himself!
In Week 1 Sophie was shouted at twice; firstly by Sophia over the drink hiding incident, and later by Lisa over the tokens for booze argument. Since then, has she upset or offended any of her fellow housemates? The relationship with Kris gains her favour with part of the group. But none of the group appear to have been offended by her recent late night drunken antics – surely this is perceived to be acceptable behaviour from a youngster, and not worthy of scorn.
I doubt that Sophie will be a strong task contributor, and with the Sports Day task it was obvious that neither team particularly wanted either Sree or her. But Noirin chose her over Sree, and as we saw – Sophie delivered for her team.
My feeling is that there will be fun times in the house later in the series, hopefully some of the argumentative types will be gone, and those that are in the Big Brother experience to enjoy themselves will be aloud to do just that. It would be great if Sophie is still there, and a part of it; without outside interference, she must now have a chance.
