UK, US, Region Question

So, we obviously started these forum for our good friends in the UK who are losing their beloved Channel 4 forums, but there are TV fans all over the world. Is it important to you to keep things segmented by country?

For instance, for a show like Lost, would you want a forum for UK fans as opposed to just one Lost forum for fans from any country?

I think there would only be an issue with spoilers...where in one country they get to see a show or series before it is aired in the UK?

Made perfect sense Angle.

Problem is Ted, US shows are aired before UK gets to view them therefore the US forummers would have an advantage over us and may ruin the viewing as there would be spoilers.

I'd like to be able to see posts from all over the world

I'm sure I could when I first logged on however I only seem to be able to see UK stuff at the moment ?? (I may be mistaken)

You can only see UK stuff at the moment because that's all there is to see right now. We're still putting the finishing touches on these forums.

It would be great to meet FMs from all over the world....but other posters have pointed out the danger of spoilers....especially from US TV shows like Lost

lol that was the first one on my mind LOST lol
as Rafe said would be a good one, also the word 'SPOILERS' as usual helps, every country knows that one anyway when talking about shows that have aired before other countries.
i use the TV.com lost forums, but way too errmmm i dont know how to explain it

anyhoo, what Rafe said sounds good

I think we should be able to speak directly with the American Fm's, when they see how stupid our posts are, they will be glad they moved over there in the first place all them hundreds of years ago.

that made me laugh. I visit a large Forum that has members from US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Europeans including Brits. Everyone gets on fine - just an occasional spat - but if any of them visited this Forum they'd get a very different view of certain Brits than they're used to

I think it'd be lovely to have US FMs joining in. I understand the 'spoiler' issue for certain programmes, but maybe something can be worked out, it shouldn't hold the forum back as a whole.
