A big HI to Everyone!!

I have been run ragged this week trying to keep up with where everyone was going and,not being very computer literate, have been all over the place!!

I am SO glad to have found gagajoyjoy and to find so many familiar "faces" here.

I would just like to add that I developed what I thought was a cold during the week also but, instead of it taking the usual course, it got worse, so I went to the doctor.

I was made to feel like I had committed a crime by going and various tests were made. I got the results today and I have pleurisy - NOT swine 'flu!!

All this media hype is not good!!

I can tell you first hand that pleurisy is REALLY painful!! I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I just wish I hadn't been made feel I had done the wrong thing by going to the doctor!!

That is appalling in this day and age for them to treat you like that. I would find myself another more sympathetic doctor Ann.

Hi Paace. I think that all the "hype" over Swine Flu has impacted on even the medical profession!! In a way, I suppose I should be grateful that they took precautions and did tests.

But they could have done it in such a way as to not make me feel I was "in the wrong" for consulting them.

I had acute lobar pneumonia a few years ago; You wind up being afraid to take a breath...
