When that french chef swore, I was in shock, even my mates were talking about it at the weekend, You can't say the F word on live Saturday morning TV!

Did you phone offcom, I thought it was hilarious! Oh and he and James did apologise after.

It was hilarious! I covered my mouth and giggled as did the whole table in the studio. Apparently there were 40 complaints.
It happens. It's not like he did it on purpose.

I know it shouldn't be shocking but it was, I was laffin and shocked a mix of emotions, unless you watch the show you don't realise how weird it was.
Felt a little sorry for poor James. He kept apologising profusely whilst the French chef seemed rather non-plussed about it and didn't seem to 'get it'.
It was only after another clip of Keith Floyd or The Two Flat Ladies when they reverted back to the studio and James had the chef beside him and said 'he wishes to apologise'.
Even then it was only half-hearted and he said he says it all the time in his own kitchen.
Didn't bother me but I was quite taken aback when he said it. I thought to myself 'did he just say what I thought he said'!!
Maybe he's been watching a little too much of Gordon Ramsay eh?

Whilst on the subject of James Martin - did anyone see him participating in the Mille Miglia Race on BBC2 last night?
He bought a ÂĢ650,000 Maserati in order to take part and then he broke down. He was so gutted poor soul.

I watched when it was first shown. I'm not really into cars or racing, but it was a great programme.
I really like James Martin though. I have one of his cookbooks that he signed at a cookery show and he chatted with me for a bit. Nice bloke.

I hadn't realised it was a repeat Suzi.
I'm not into cars either but my husband loves those old cars and he wanted to see it.
Lucky you actually getting to meet him - I think he's such an affable guy and I can imagine he doesn't have any airs or graces about him.

He seemed to be very down to earth. I would love to be a guest, but the logistics would be a nightmare to sort out.

I'd like to as well but I'd be far too nervous.
They don't seem to give the guests much time IMO, especially at the end where everyone else is tucking into the 'heaven' dish. The chefs and guest celebrity get stuck in whilst the guests just get handed a glass of wine!!

That's true. I'm sure they get a few bites after the cameras are turned off.

Yes, I expect they probably do.
Also amuses me how they all get a taster of the other dishes and then have to pass the plate along!! Always makes me laugh 'cos sometimes the guest celebrity hardly gets a decent mouthful before the plate gets moved on down the line.

Gerrof Holly - I saw him first.
Yes, he is rather yummy and he sure has a good looking girlfriend doesn't he?
My friends have always teased me that he's gay and wouldn't be interested in women - rotten lot.
