Caught a couple of pictures of her recently in the press. She DID NOT look at all happy

I think she needs training. The reason she's been soooo hyped is because what came out of her was totally unexpected. She's got a good tone and had some good moments last night, but equally had some horrendous ones too. But the rawness just adds to the appeal, also the fact that the public LOVE seeing someone grow in front of their eyes. We will play a part in turning an ugly sister with a dream into Cinderella who gets to go the ball.

Am a bit fed up of her jigging and hip-swinging though.

Flawless and Diversity are just amazing. Susan Boyle is talented but not as talented as those guys.

We already have plenty of 'reality' singers in the UK... Susan (as others before her) will have her 15 minutes.. Maybe an album or two, maybe meet a nice man and get her first real kiss.

Time to let other talents shine through.

I think he is on tonight, Moonbeams.

I don't really watch the show.....far too spun out, but I saw Susan Boyle and thought that she was off key in the beginning, the 'quiet' part of the song wasn't good, but the belted out bit was fine. I didn't think it was really her night.

Moving from one register to another is often not smooth (as we heard yesterday), and her diction is poor and lazy. (She sang "Midnigh_", "lampligh_" and "streetlam_" for instance.)

Karma, I really don't dislike Susan at all, her singing just wouldn't be my cup of tea. However, I thoroughly agree with you on the 'old gyrating' hip motion. I find it so embaressing for her, she did something similar on the first night and I was absolutely mortified for her. Cringe! Some of her family should have a gentle word in her ear.

Absolutely Katty, I think her family should keep a close eye on her affairs. I truly hope she is not exploited and then just dumped. Its hard enough for hard boiled youngsters to cope after their 15mins of fame. Just think how traumatic it would be for a lady like Susan.
