Kinda feel like a new woman after 2 years out, only doing 2 days a week but got so much to learn as this job is something i am so new too, its within my profession but i am a little overwhelmed, everyone was lovely, but the responsibility seems huge, i am looking forward to doing lots of study again at the age of 36 but its been a while!

Help! Does everyone feel as up and down as this when they start a new job?

ps/ yes i feel like cackpoo is my sisterhood out there

Yes of course they do.
You have been out of your comfort zone for a while.

Once your all settled in, be like you never been away, and you will wonder what all the fuss is about.

If you enjoy it, it wont be a problem. Its only your first day, and probably felt like the first day at school.

it will feel strange , all new things do , but give it a week and you will feel like you have been there a life time

Any new job I've started has ALWAYS felt overwhelming, even though I've stayed within my field. It can be scary learning new stuff, everything's new, your colleagues seem to know everything and have their own routine....stick with it and you'll be fine

And well bloody done on the new job!

I've moved jobs recently and found it a night mare given what I have to be responsible for! However it is getting easier each time I go (only 2 weeks in 5 yay but full on work when I am there)
