Sir Alan biased against Northerners

Given all the Hello coverage I was rather assuming she'd won and he was milking it for the cash cow it is for as long as possible.

Trouble is the only people who understand it don't do it.

I think he's more biased against women.
I loved the way Nick lept into defend Lewis's in Liverpool, when Kate looked down her nose at it. TBH it is a bit down market compared to London Department stores but it has served Liverpool and Manchester very well for as long as I can remember.
When the IRA blew up Manchster city centre, M & S were homeless and Lewis's did a deal whereby they let 2 floors of their store to M & S, not just for the money but because they realised that the quickest way to get Manchester back to some order and restore confidence in the city was to get M & S back on the high street there as quick as possible.

Have thought about pointing it out, many, many times, on here and in RL- but don't want to be DCI grammar police! It's v.v. common 'Up North' Maybe I should of?

My dearest friend in RL is a primary school teacher and she says it. It drives me up the wall but I can't tell her. I love her too much to upset her.
I generally just grit my teeth...
