Apparently this guy was questioned but released as he had an aliba that night, have to say the resemblance to the drawing of the man seen that night hanging around, is very noticible. I do hope this leads to something, for the families sake.

On the BBC News this morning it said that this man is now in hospital in Germany being treated for cancer.

The Torygraph had a picture of the guy on its online front page earlier. It looked very like that identikit picture that was released a couple of weeks ago of 'the very ugly man'.
I'm presuming they were put forward by the same source for exactly that reason. Interesting link though. If I was very sceptical then I'd say that the time between the two was chosen deliberately so that people make the link.

Personally I think the police are perfectly within their rights to go after each and every suspect in their quest to find out what happened that poor child.

Of course they do and should. Hopefully, one day soon this is going to lead to whoever took her and the recovery of Madeleine.
