On the BBC News this morning it said that this man is now in hospital in Germany being treated for cancer.

The Torygraph had a picture of the guy on its online front page earlier. It looked very like that identikit picture that was released a couple of weeks ago of 'the very ugly man'.

I'm presuming they were put forward by the same source for exactly that reason. Interesting link though. If I was very sceptical then I'd say that the time between the two was chosen deliberately so that people make the link.

Absolutely Nod That is usually (and should be), the first line of enquiry. I wonder how many of these sick monsters were in the area at the time Maddie went missing?
