Totally random queston, but does anybody know how much they earn (average wage)?

I've been asked by a friend in Italy, but I have no idea!

my mates hubby is a mechanic......he earns about 1,500-1,600 a month take home......depending on o/t etc though......he's also a qualified mot tester so that bumps it up a bit......

I've been trying to put my mate off! He wants to come to England to work. I've told him that as well as learning English he'll have to learn to speak Scouse if he comes here!

don't forget the curly perm and shell suit!!!!.....

i wouldn't have a clue if that's average.....he's been a mechanic since leaving school and is 44 now......

i guess alot depends on experience etc.....
