Just to illiterate I'm 22
But he smokes which is a turn off 4 me but in this case it seems it's an exception
Ooooh you're gonna be a cabbie? Will you go south after midnight?
Thats not a euphimism by the way - thats what you have to ask a west-end cabbie when you try to get home (or you did in my day) the buggers never wanted to take you over the bridge.

Sorry Mo, of course you're absoluteley correct, I'm making assumptions i.e. naivety = youth , or alternatively, just taking the piss...BUT.....
Good grief, sounds like you are having more fun with the day-dream.quote:Originally posted by funkyjunky:

If you leave it like this you can have hours and days of angst ridden fantasy.
So much easier than putting yourself out there and getting rejected.

aaah but you clearly are by dafault..that's sometimes soooo much funnier
My next door neighbours have been together for 17 years now. Ones 63 and ones 44. They are SOLID. Yes they are gay. But then my mum and dad have a 17 year age gap and they are solid too. It doesnt really matter what age, what sex, what anything you are. But yes obviously if the bloke doesnt know you are gay and you cant tell him you are gay...then its not looking good for a long term romance - its not even promising a one night stand!quote:Originally posted by Supercalifragilistic:

Hey Mo I can do age gap extraordinaire! I was concentrating more on the naivety/uncertainty...but ,hey, that sometimes works ...very rarely 'though imo
Oh I know...its often not til later on in the relationship that the gaps show - I do get that. But hey, whil the bloke still doesnt know whether the old fella is gay or fancies him back I'm just not worried about the rest of it!!quote:Originally posted by Supercalifragilistic:quote:Originally posted by MoFo:My next door neighbours have been together for 17 years now. Maybe I'm wrong, but just think that if op is genuine. and is asking for advice on here, then there must be an element of vulnerabilty...that worries me...but other guy might be fantastic..or not..do you think he'd know the difference. I'm not so sure????
Sorry to talk about you like you're not here Funky Junky, are you?

Ask him some questions because to be honest it sounds as if you don't really know him.
And figuring out if you are might also help because you are deffo sending mixed messages out to the world

Or a great friendship/relationship, or even just a satisfying one nighter for both of them. It depends on the particular people involved.

If I want to know if someone is gay then I just give them The Look. It usually works. I've had one or two rather poor mistakes though.

Isn't that just part of finding your own sexual identity. There's always an element of 'risk', I don't mean assault here, before you find out what sort of partner you want. Most partners turn out to be unstable for various reasons and you move on. I don't know what the story is here ... am I reading bisexuality or bi-curious or what ... but it sounds pretty normal to me.
im not sure funky, you do sound unsure, have you only recently come out, or is this something you are very sure of?
As for this bloke 40 is a lot older than 22.
tread wisely..

Oh I say.
Where does he wear his trousers? Mrs. Bleads says she can always tell by how a man wears his trousers. Homosexualists generally wear them higher than their hetrosexualist counterparts.
Well that's what she says. Personally I have no gaydar at all. Dale Winton came as a shock to me.
