Its not totally stupid as they can use him to off all the others not in the inner circle. They see a final of Kris, Charlie, Lisa, Sophie, Karly and whoever finally manages to beat Freddie. The risk they run is that one of them is up this week, but when Siavash pointed this out they seemed not to have thought of this!

No matter who you like, the object of the game is to be the last man standing. The long game says, whether you like a person or not, you off your biggest competition early on leaving you against the weaker ones. An astute observer of the form would note that Freddie is at the moment bomb-proof (but will not always remain so with some clever game play), so perfect opportunity to off your perceived rivals.

Of course now what they have done is waste a golden opportunity... well in fact several.

I am too machiavellian Ninja

I think most hms are not that Machiavellian. They tend to stick with those they bond with most and vote out those they don't. There are usually a few machiavellian hms such as last years Luke, but it usually blows up in their face, eventually!

Freddy is playing a blinding game, with his insightful observations given in a commentary style that surpassing other fms before and now, hands in the air, sighs, etc (all body language) languidly performed in the bb diary room.
He's in control of himself, and the viewers too. Glance
His straight faced reactions to the ranting of carly is a very good example, he is probably being a pest to her...cos i do recall seeing him sitting legs crossed watching the two blondes excercising in the first week...hence carly's remark about doing her head in, but so far not alot of fms had even considered this aspect to him.
He's becoming very boring and predictable to me... Glance
