I love it too and I'm not Jewish but we do get a friend to cook it for us. I love it with the Haimisha Cucumbers too. Luverly.

I used to live and work in a Jewish area...and it really is one of the best dishes around. Those cucumbers are delicious too...my boss used to just munch on them at lunchtimes.

My husband's business partner was Jewish and that's how we were first introduced to salt beef and other various dishes.
I really adore those Haimisha Cucumbers though and even tried pickling them myself once but they didn't taste anything like the real thing.
I really dislike to young rich woman with the 5 bedroom house, but I do like the older woman who called her out on her lying on the first night even before the first course was served.
