I am well thanks.... Schmurf texted me and said there was a 'Ditty is AWOL' thread... so I reported in!

My dog was ill (is better now), and then cos I am so not into Big Brother this year I kinda didn't have the heart to come on the forum.... but twas stupid of me, I am having no problem avoiding big brother related chat!

Still.... she was a bad toddler... but is a charming teenager... so maybe I had a result!

No, I'm not kidding.... the clever little girl went and got herself a FULL boarding scholarship to a well known private boys school, to study physics & maths a levels.

I cryed when we were first approached about her applying for it. Then when she started sitting entrance exams and interviews I just wanted it for her (but didn't think she would actually get it.... hundreds of kids applied for the one place!).

Then when we got the news that she'd got it... I was just so very proud of her! And now I am kind of resigned to it.... unless it hasn't hit me yet... I'm not sure which!

(Am going to get her a railcard so she can come home at weekends if she wants! )
