Got to agree with you but what gets me is that countries with a lot less budgets than Ch4 can do Live feed 24/7 and forums

It's utter stupidity, and considering it's still channels 4's top show, you'd think they would try to build on it and not destroy it.

I think c4 are "running scared" right now after all the "trouble" last time both with BB and CBB, I think they want more control over what happens, hence closing the forum and NO live feed,
as I have said without these things in place they could be going to a hotel evey night and working from a script for all we know, Shake Head

sadly no one here seems intrested in big brother enough to complain about the destruction of the show.

i however do and have continued to contact anyone i can get hold of with regard to the live feed issue.

although its obvious we wont win i can only hope that enough people grow the required bollocks to swith off and email ch4 and the advertisers to tell them why. a complete boycott and email campaign is the only way to save bb.

i'm doing my part, are you?

I don't beleive for one minute its a financial thing. Recently whenever CH4 have done any BB press releases they have been worded in such a way that I realised they weren't actually directed at BB fans. I feel that this is part of a rebranding exercise... and that in order for them to be respected within their industry (i.e. more BBC, than Living TV) they feel they have to almost apologise for the Big Brother programme.

I posted this some time ago... and another fm mentioned that Channel 4 were hoping that the BBC World Service would buy them out. If that is true... then it all makes sense.

I just wish they would sell the format to a different channel. I also hope that the lack of live feed results in a significant fall in the revenue from voting calls. Not sure it will though.
