Ive noticed over the last month that these self service points have dramatically reduced q's, but in doin so there are less counter staff or ones that just pray there is a next customer.

the self service is EXCELLENT for lunchtime but i think they have ruined shopping for some. are we slowly gonna be a self service country?

u can shop online, order online, buy at self service points... damn we need a bit of social interaction... its goin a bit too far. i miss checkout people!!!!!

If Kerry Katona carries out her threat to give up "fame" to become a checkout girl, then I will be actively campaigning for self service checkouts everywhere!

i was in b&q last week and this fella went through the 'serve yourself' checkout, the alarms went off when he reached the doors and this bloke , in an orange pinny, yelled across the shop'' it's serve yourself , sir!! not 'oh help yourself'
