I dunno about Rodrigo, he just doesn't seem to have a strong enough personality to carry the weight of the whole show, but I do think that the early favourite isn't always the winner. Laura in BB8, and I'm not saying Freddie shares any other characteristics with her before the Fredweillers leap in and rip me to shreds, was very popular before she got complacent and Rachel really came from nowhere to win in the last series.

I was very impressed with Rodrigo when he stood up to that harridan Noirin over the washing up on Angel's last night. But since then, he's disappeared back into the woodwork somewhat.

Freddie makes me cringe at times, but he's a lot more interesting to watch than, say, Sophie. The girl can barely string a sentence together, she's so thick.

Laura was only popular foe a relatively short time. However, Gerry was topping several forum Polls up until around Week 8 – but faded dreadfully as other storylines were pushed.

We'll never really know about Gerry though, if he hadn't fallen on his sword, the outcome might have been different.

I think he was out of the race by that stage... it was clear who C4 wanted to win imo... and that is reflected in how much work they are still giving the winner! Wink

What a brilliant and desriptive word harridan! It describes Noirin to a tee!

I don't think BB producers want the show to center around Freddie though. Davina and George have made it pretty clear that they both dispise Freddie and want him out. IMO, the reason why Freddie is getting all the attention is not only he the most interesting person in the house, but the others pick on him relentlessly and the public can see that.

Same here. I cannot recall a year when I have not been avidly watching everything on offer. This year I don't even bother with the HL show. I rely on people on here to keep me informed.

Dunno about Rodrigo - tho` did you see his face when Karly and Sophie were slagging Freddie off? He looked disgusted with them. Seems to me that Rodrigo is biding his time and sussing everyone out. From what I`ve read, he does have a temper and could eventually explode.

I noticed that too Jeggo. He didn't like the gang mentality. If there is one thing about little Rodrigo, he stands up for what is right. I would predict that, if Sree is up this week for eviction, it could be little Rodrigo who may have swung the noms. He is a bit of a dark horse imo.

A few days can be a long time in group dynamics.
Before September everything can be turned on its head, and we may then wonder why on earth we felt as we did in June.
Change is one of the few certainties in life, and this programme is no exception (plus the programme makers will do their best to introduce artidicial change.)

Sophie, in particular, is very close to Rodrigo. I noticed last night on the LF that Sophie (with Kris) was back in her own bed - next to Rodrigo. This looked like an interesting shift; instead of Kris being flanked by Charlie and Sophie, we now had Sophie between Rodrigo and Kris.
