I agree with you. Aid contributions should be voluntary and not compulsory. Siavash was being a bit naive, but he is only 23 and he should have kept quiet about taxes.

vive la difference Brisket. I love Siavash's outlandish clothes and I love his ability to stay out of any big rucks in the house. It shows an awareness that unless you are directly involved it is a good idea to back off in case you may be drawn in. He keeps his own counsel about a lot of things. In some ways he appears older than he is, but when he spouts about aid and taxes I am reminded of his youth. Where you see a possible flash exterior disguising a less confident person, I see a person who has great self-belief. But I respect your opinion of him nevertheless.
