Could BB play the Fake Romance card?

It’s a bizarre rule imo – and grossly unfair, in as much as they cannot really be entirely sure of the feelings that housemates have for one another. However, it is a rule this year, and as such – why not use it?

To stop a predictable series of evictions, would viewers buy into BB using this rule, and creating a twist for the next eviction:

Kris vs Sophie

Would it work?

Personally, I would be gutted if Sophie went in such a twist, but as things stand and if it happened in the next couple of weeks, I reckon she would have a decent chance of survival – plus raise her own stake in the game. Of course, if it backfired, I imagine we would be lumbered with Kris until the end!

If it was a straight eviction vote between Kris and Sophie I think Sophie would go.

It would be a funny turn of events for them both to be up but thinking about the way they stand at the moment you have Kris and Charlie - acting like the lads, trying to have a good time, lots of energy. Oh and he's good looking too for the female voters.

On the other hand there's Sophie. Hasn't really made any mark in there. Doesn't get much air time in the highlights, and against a bloke would probably leave. After all if it was down to looks then there are other pretty women in the house and she hasn't shown herself to be very witty or intelligent so far has she?

Nah, I think in that scenario Kris would stay.

It would be a good excuse to stop them from nomming this week. Hopefully it'd stop the rot and shake things up a bit.

I thought the HL show offered us a whispered conversation, after they got back together, the gist of which suggested that neither of them wanted to look bad. A pointless clip, unless of course we are being guided to attach meaning to it.

Mind you, they have hardly enforced any rules this year. They all talk about nominations, but no punishments.

I think only Siavash has been punished individually so far. Plus the whole house got punished for talking about noms by means of a price rise for food a few weeks back.
A shame BB don't strip Lisa and her cronies of a vote or two. They have been quite clever so far but have to slip up sooner ar later!

That's a damn good idea. Something is needed to put the brakes on the inevitable progression of Charlie to winner status.
