what happened to wilfy Disappointed :hugs:

The latest medical emergency to befall my little bundle of fluffy joy is that he wags his extraordinarily long tail starting at his hips. This means that he wags so hard he hits it against walls and anything else that he stands next to which has split the end of his tail. Because he is a very happy (or stupid) dog, he is always wagging and whacking it against everything, re-opening the wound so it can't heal. The house looks like a crime scene from a midget version of CSI, there is that much blood spatter when it happens. Anyway, the vet says the only way to deal with it is to dock his tail, which I really don't want to happen because it reflects so much of his personality. We've managed to convince the vet to try dressing it every few days or so until it's healed, then hopefully we can manage to save the tail. So far it's healing nicely so fingers crossed we can save it. It's worth a try anyway. Honestly, he's only 7 months old and so far he's racked up over ÂĢ1000 in vet bills alone, thank god we've got all the dogs insured.

I was looking at Murphy's picture the other day after reading your sad news about Chloe. I wondered what on earth he would have made of all of this. If he hadn't died, we wouldn't have rescued Daphne and we wouldn't have ended up with Wilfred and her other eight 'surprises'! Still, I love them all so much, Daphne has really come out of her shell after her ordeal and she's a gorgeous little dog now, Wilfy is an absolute nutter but so loving and funny he makes me laugh everyday, and they've both given Paddy a new lease of life after we thought he'd pine away after Murphy.

Thanks. Hug Aww, do you have a pic of yours?Lab pups are sooo gorgeous. Nod Daphne is our first girl and she's just wonderful. She's still a bit nervous of people, but after everything she's been through that's not exactly surprising. But now she plays for hours and is so much more gentle than the boys we've had. We call her princess tippy toes and we both just adore her. Nod

He does that to me everyday. Nod It makes it very hard to be cross when he's been a little swine again. Laugh

What's he chewed now?

He had the carpet in the dining room on Wednesday, the ipod ear phones and a whole box of eggs that he nicked off the kitchen work top yesterday. Roll Eyes
