Dr Katherine Lewis, my uni mentor was on as an expert. She supervised my dissertation and was going to co-supervise my PhD on Medieval Saints Cults.

Was she the lady at the feast or the one in the middle eastern restaurant?
I love the supersizers though this series isn't as good as the first so far.

Neither, she was the one with the dark hair eating seeds and talking about medieval women in the bedchamber with Sue. She talked about impotence and bearded saints. The stuff she was talking about on impotence was what I researched as my final project at uni a few years ago.
I agree that this series isn't as good as the last one though.
I watched it for the first time last night. I found it very interesting but not what I was expecting at all. (I thought it would be very obese people trying different ways of eating).
Next weeks should be interesting, the 1950s - I'm thinking steak & kidney puddings, veg boiled to death, and jam roly poly with custard for afters. Yum Yum

Oh her, Gotcha.
I'm looking forward to Ancient Rome. I wonder if they will make themselves sick between courses.

Larks' tongues. Wrens' livers. Chaffinch brains. Jaguars' earlobes. Wolf nipple chips. Get 'em while they're hot. They're lovely. Dromedary pretzels, only half a denar. Tuscany fried bats.
