Today has been ace!! It was sunny, I collected my Glastonbury tickets from the post then went to a CAR SHOWROOM for the first time in my life and bought a NEW car (Kia Picanto) which I got on govt scrappage scheme which is a fair old trade in for my scrap value Fiesta which is on its last legs. MOT is up in July and it's goign to cost more than the car's worth to get it put through MOT so I chucked caution to the wind. It felt bliddy great!! Won't get my car til August though and HAD to get it in white (that was my choice, white or white ) still, it's new and shiny yay!!

Lot's of 'em.
If you can get hold of a copy of Saturday's Guardian LL. There was a very good long article about the 'Oo.
Sounds like a great day
Yay! Well done jonon. Glad you had a lovely day.
I had a crap one. I have never seen a redder person than me after I had to climb the hill near my house pushing ten ton of baby in her pushchair in sweltering heat

Well done!
Does the car play MP3's?

It's total old timers all the way this year. Eavis has done a total U turn on the previous years' line ups when he said he was tryin to attract the 'yoof' and discourage oldies like me from going, I wouldn't have given a toss if Jay Z played or not, personally I reckon Neil Young (who is playing) is boring as sin and I don't totally 'get' Springsteen but still it will be a good festival. The Specials are playing and Tom Jones.

Yes I do believe it does do that. I am still in a girly huff it is white, I wanted an orange one. But overall I'm happy. For all the driving I do which is city based, shops andtaking my old ma around it's perfect!

Well you must read the four page article in the Daily Mail about how musically great the 'Oo were then.
I suspect that it may have affected house prices.
Well done Jonono . There will probably be Dizzee Rascal there though which is cool .

Me and Mr L bonded over mutual ambivalence towards Pink Floyd. We are the only people in the world who don't get it.

Me neither!!!! WTF is it all about? I like the gnome songs with Syd Barret but the rest of it is like 'oh listen to how slow and clumpy I can play a guitar then echo it for half an hour'!!
I like a bit of energy in it for gawwwd's sake.

We meet at Govan underground
Still, they aren't as bad as a 7 minute keyboard solo designed to evoke images of wizards.
