As some of you know I got my redundancy notice this Tuesday and my last day of work is on the 19th of June, work have been really good to us by letting us use the computers to look for jobs, doing us references and letting us time of for interviews, so I emailed a few jobs yesterday and saw one this morning for a website company, I emailed them and the MD rang me back half an hour later, gave me an interview on the phone for about 15 minutes, really grilled me, then rang me back 10 minutes later asking me to come in next Wednesday morning to see him. I may end up leaving this job on the Friday and walking into a new job the following Monday! Keep your fingers crossed.

Btw, I think your current company is obliged to give you reasonable time off for interviews if they're making you redundant.

yeah you never know, you might walk into a new job straight away - pays to be optimistic I suppose
