First I would like to say good thread Saz
As a general rule I find them anoying they cut corners and paper over old paper not a very clean way of working I find
Like others have said they never finish off well
Where oh where do you keep your clothes or where does the wires go on these wall mounted flat screens you never see them and they have not had time to put a new socket in
I feel most of the people that they do these shows must know what is happening call my cynical but thats how I feel
I want to know where the owners put all their belongings in the shows where they take peeps to 3 houses they can choose to test drive?
If you put all your stuff in storage when your house was up for sale, how could you live in it in the meantime?

I hate the liberal use of black and huge patterned wallpaper every where
Sometimes they seem to replace perfectly good kitchens and newly painted rooms
Bland perhaps but nightmare NOOOOOOOOOOooooo

We both love watching Grand Designs. The only home makeover show I ever really got into was Real Rooms. That was the best.

Not a makeover show, but Bargain Hunt has to be the stupidest idea of all.
I know, let's buy a load of over-priced tat from some snooty antiques market, then try to flog it for a profit at an auction house - probably the same one the dealer I got it off bought it at in the first place. What a fantastic use of licence-payers' cash
same here deman, i don't want to pay for this prog
Or Tim "I'm so wacky because I wear clashing checks" Wonnacott's wages, either
i prefer him to the orange one
Tim Wannacott is lovely!

I think one has to accept a general TV service rather than individualise certain progs. After all there are all sorts of progs on ITV I object to paying for, but accept that some people must like Simon Cowell related carp.
But at least Bargain Hunt is about recycling things. Normal makeovers are about waste. They throw away a load of good stuff and replace it with new stuff. Shooting is too good for them.
it was more the lic.fee thing, the prog is geared for misuse of funds. the sellers could have upped the prices, the buyers in the auctions let the 'bid' sink to a pound start and buy it for peanuts. that's how i see it, a rip off of public funds. itv advertise, so the only cost is brain damage ads
It's a good series, just a bit of fun. It's on the BBC so no ads.
