Oh my god Rawky. Jen was absolutely not misunderstood, she was a spanner for want of a better word. She was bigoted and up her own backside. She thought the world revolved around her and that everyone should bow down. Couldn't stand her, I have to to say first impressions count and I couldn't stand her from her opening VT, never left me.
Aisleyne and Science though very misunderstood. Took stick for the way the spoke, acted whereas they just "knew themselves" and stayed true to who they were.

you are, of course, free to object to her personality or behaviour.I'll even agree with you to an extent; she was over-the-top, and even I wouldn't want to be stuck in a house with her for twelve weeks.
But that is just gratuitously insulting, to trans women everywhere.

I've never agreed with people changing their gender so I reserve the right to my opinion and how I express it.
It wasn't meant to insult her/him for the sake of it.

I don't agree with anyone attempting to change their gender either, but that's because I know, firsthand, that it can't be done. Our gender is preset before birth, and, despite the fact that it usually coincides with the shape of our bodies, it's not defined by, or dependent on that shape.
But I also believe that it's unacceptably rude to consider one's own belief about someone's gender to be more valid than their own self-identity.
Calling a trans woman 'him', 'her/him' or even 'it' does just that.
