Yeah, that looks good too. Can't try hard enough to make sure they keep themselves safe in the current climate, and no good just thinking that we can do it through home pcs now with so many young people having so many other means to access the internet etc. I think I'm pretty internet savvy but got nowhere near 100% in the parents quiz on thinkuknow! If you've only got 2 mins watch this- v powerful:Where's Klauss

I'm sorry to say this to you Frankies they might just do it behind your back. If you do FB and Bebo stuff with them you can control it.
I am Friends on all my lads profiles so I know what's going on.
They have to accept any Friend's request they get so their father might never get to them.

Then again I'm not in your situation so I can't tell you what to do. You know best. Hug

I was one of the ones that you were trying to help, thank you for that. I have managed to find out who posted his picture (it was one of the group I told you about), I have been in touch with FB and they are going to get the picture removed. Sorry I didn't see your thread earlier but my comp is playing up and isn't showing the whole page.

Do check out the links Frankie, if they get their privacy setting right and use a pseudonym etc. they should be ok . Aren't many young people these days who don't use social networking sites, so maybe better to take a look at these re doing it safely????

I set my lad up on his FB, and in his settings blocked his biological father 'just in case' he tried to find him. You could do that on your kids. Plus I know his password so can go in and re-adjust his settings.

if you keep your computer in your main room or where it requires supervision and install a keylogger of some kind which you make sure your children know is active as well as educating them in the does and donts of being online then at least at home your children will be safe however that doesnt stop them from using a "mates" computer or a games console or cellphone and for those things only your education and trust can realy help.

remember if you have wifi to password it so your children cant access it from their laptop or sony/nintendo console without your entering the password and also watch very very carefully if they are using an online service like xbox live or psn especialy xbox live as there are some realy nasty people on that service.
