Hi everybody...
I’m assuming that most of you are not familiar with recent developments on the home site of C4’s “The TV Show” http://blogs.channel4.com/thetvshow/, so I thought an update was in order...

Every month, the TV Show publishes a “Rated/Slated” list of the most praised and complained-about shows on C4, and has just posted the latest lists for June. Surprisingly, Big Brother did not feature in either list. I missed the original web posting, but there were a number of complaints about BB’s omission. C4 have still not amended the list, but they did add a comment, stating:
"Big Brother generated 1,837 complaints and 48 appreciative comments in June."

This means that BB received 2/3rds of C4’s total complaints during June, and more than 11 times the number of complaints received by the “officially” most-complained-about C4 show, “Wife Swap”!

There have been a number of comments posted to the C4 website complaining about this. The most recent was posted at 5.11 pm yesterday. That post is still the most recently-posted comment to the whole site after over 27 hours! Now I don’t know about you, but I find that unlikely – I’ve personally submitted 2 comments during that time!

The latest news is that I have submitted a complaint to C4 over the lack of site updates. My complaint has been acknowledged, and I will keep you updated re any further developments…

Channel 4 does not want viewer input, despite their "TV Show". It's pretty obvious by the way they continue to dismiss any negative feedback.

They are so desperate to get money from the license payers, whilst still receiving money from their advertisers, but refuse to look at their programming and how that could be changed.

They are doing all they can to ruin their big money making programme (Big Brother) in order to get a bit of pittance that they don't realise that if they would only follow the original concept of Big Brother, they would be quids in.

You may have a point there.

According to my TV guide, the next broadcast of the TV Show is on C4 tomorrow at 4 PM.

However, the TV Show's own site is still claiming that the broadcast is at 5 PM... Roll Eyes
