Did I go up the hospital today for a BP check???

I had to sit and listen to a woman giving birth, she was sooooooooo vocal and I am now dreading the birth of my little lamb.

I have been through it twice already but hearing a woman scream and shout for nearly 1 hour has not done me any good lol

My sister heard another woman screaming in the next room and sent the midwife to see how far advanced she (the other woman) was.

She wanted to know if she still had that pain to come, or if the other woman was a wuss

Aw sheepy.My third one was a peace of cake!Was in labour less than an hour.Didnt scream once.Was able to walk around right up til the delivery(if you can stand it,I thoroughly reccomend it..seems to make everything speed up).Back at home that afternoon.Its so much easier when you've done it before

Im hoping to stay mobile but they cant guarentee it as I will be linked up to monitors as I am classed as high risk cos I suffered with a PPH after my first. Dont want it too come too quick as I have got to travel for 1 hour to get to hospital too.

Hope it goes well.I was considered high risk for my first two and travelled up to London to have them

Just as well my local unit agreed to take me for number three!

When I had my first and was wheeled into the delivery suite... my female friend who had promised to stay with me... ran for the hills cos she heard the woman in the next room... Mooing and screaming and howling!
